Athena Film Festival is an annual festival that takes place at the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The festival is during the third week of March in honor of Women’s History Month. All films shown are either directed/produced by women or have an overall theme of female empowerment with a strong female

leading cast.

 

Athena Film Festival supports Women in Film, a nonprofit supporting and guiding women through the entertainment industry, and is partnering with them for the festival. 50% of all proceeds will go towards WIF and its programs.
